Our Burundi coffee from Nkonge Hill, sourced by our partners at Long Miles Coffee, is a reflection of the serene environment of the hill. The stillness on the hill is unparalleled, allowing you to stroll for long stretches on a green carpeted hill without encountering anyone. The high altitude of Nkonge nurtures a harder and slower growing coffee bean, resulting in a unique flavor profile. The hill's rich soil is nourished by natural springs, ensuring its always well-watered. Coffee is grown alongside patches of onions, tea, wheat, cabbage, maize, cassava, and peas, all of which contribute to the complex and nuanced flavor of our coffee. The 5,334 coffee trees are located on Nkonge's slopes, alongside neighbors' trees, and directly across from Heza washing station.
