Geisha Costa Rica Coffee
Our Geisha Costa Rica Coffee is a top seller and we bought the entire crop from one of our farmers to ensure a better supply, but the demand continues to be high. This coffee has been a surprise hit over the last 12 months since a significant coffee chain added it to their upscale line.
This Geisha Coffee is ancient and rare. The name Geisha comes from the Ethiopian town of Gesha where the coffee plant was found. The Geisha Coffee looks different than most coffees, is naturally resistant to some diseases and the beans are long and slender instead of the rounder traditional coffee beans. Geisha Coffee has about 30% less caffeine than most other coffees. The plants seedlings were brought to Costa Rica, where the rich volcanic soil added elements of a coffee rich flavor.
