This Peru Decaf Coffee is organically grown in the Chanchamayo region at the highest ranges of the South American Andes and the Amazon River basin.
The Peruvian Coffee produces a complex full bodied coffee with floral, smoky overtones, bright aromatic finish, and a gentle acidity and a clean, bright aromatic finish.
The decaffeination process uses SWISS WATER. The Swiss Water process is a taste-driven, 100% chemical free decaffeination process that delivers for our Peru Decaf Coffee that is 99.9% caffeine-free while protecting the unique origin characteristics and flavor.
Most other processes use chemical solvents, like Methylene Chloride or Ethyl Acetate to decaffeinate coffee beans. This process maintains a clean original taste for our Peruvian Decaf Coffee.
