Puerto Rico Coffee - Ciales
This is Puerto Rico Coffee is from the Cafe Chevere estate in the region Ciales Mountain region.
This is one of the finest Puerto Rican coffees we have sourced from the island grown at an altitude of 2,500 - 2,700 feet
It is similar in taste to Ethiopian Coffee and can be described as full body with winey acidity, chocolate notes with deep red fruit.

Coffee from Puerto Rico has been cultivated since the 1820’s in the Ciales Mountains and was very famous in years past. Puerto Rican Coffee was at one time one of the leading coffee origins in the world but sadly Puerto Rico's coffee production has fallen off dramatically. Lately fine premium coffee Puerto Rican Coffee is rarely seen outside of the island.
